The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The main task within this role will be to provide the interface between the prototype/development/production manufacturing areas and the infotainment team. This will involve being the first contact point for all infotainment related issues from the build areas. The successful candidate will be expected to resolve many of these issues independently, but will be able to refer to the Infotainment PD team for support when required. Typical issues that will be expected to be resolved include: Bill of material issues, issues around bill of process, electrical problem resolution on vehicles, diagnostic issues with both vehicle and plant equipment and part fitment issues. The role will require shift working to support production line operation. The exact shift pattern will be agreed with the line manager. The candidate is expected to have strong communication and presentation skills and will be required to lead and drive issues to closure as well as report to management where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The role will suit a pro-active engineer able to work with little direct supervision and able to take responsibility for ensuring delivery of projects/products within set timeframes. Electrical debugging skills are a requirement for this role. Experience of product delivery from prototype builds through to production builds preferably in an automotive environment is desirable. Degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience in a similar role also desirable.
