The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will work within a team responsible for the development and release of driveline components from initial concept through to production. The primary focus of the team will be the release of next generation driveline to support continued fuel efficiency improvements. The role will involve close liaison with production suppliers and other client teams to ensure seamless delivery and compliance with design requirements.

Responsibilities include: - Prototype build support (Problem solving) - Supplier management -Failure mode avoidance, including DFMEA - Quality improvement activities

3 Key Skills:
1) Ability to methodically solve problems and identify root cause.
2) Excellent communication skills - Both written and verbal
3) Proven ability to manage projects to tight deadlines

Experience Required:
Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.

Experience Preferred:
Work experience within an engineering environment. Problem solving experience (8D, 6 Sigma, etc...) Exposure to DFMEA process
