The Role:
•Implementation of new gas turbine Fuel Systems and combustion components into production during technology transfer and in case of portfolio extension and lead products to serial production release
•Ensuring that all technical requirements for safe operation after reconditioning are met and documented
•Providing technical specifications, documents, protocols and drawings for the reconditioning portfolio
•Optimization of component-specific production sequence in terms of cost, technical risks and lead time
•Non Conformance Report (NCR) processing
•Definition of investigation scope for metallurgical analysis
•Issuing technical reports and investigation reports

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education, Training, Qualifications:
•M.Sc. in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or B.Eng. with 5 years of relevant experience
•English language (advanced)
Experience and Work-Related Skills:
•Sound knowledge of annular can combuster and fuel system components (e.g. GE DLN) repair and production processes
•Knowledge of annular can combuster and fuel system components degradation
•Basic knowledge of nickel base and cobalt base super-alloy metallurgy
•Basic knowledge of destructive and non-destructive investigation methods
