The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Perform a variety of activities involving the preparation of design sketches, detailed drawings and 3D models using drafting software/tools and conduct research to support internal and external engineering plan design needs and requirements.
1. Provide assistance to engineers with design work by formulating and creating technical prints based on solid models for the purpose of fabrication and documentation. Create images, prints and specifications as required by technicians and engineers.
2. Create complete technical part or assembly drawings with advanced understanding of geometric tolerance guidelines.
3. Prepare and update the necessary project related (Process, Detail Design & Construction and layout) drawings and sketches as required for project development & execution.
4. Serve as a technical resource to other cross-functional teams in the organization by assisting with day-to-day drafting, training and troubleshooting of part, assembly, and drawing files.
5. Ensure the maintenance of Computer Aided Design (CAD) database to include all supporting information related to various engineering projects.
6. Oversee and maintain the electronic drawing files, survey data files of completed and current projects for easy identification and reference.
7. Comply and conform with American National Standard Institute (ANSI) and/or American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Y14.5M drafting standards
8. Interact externally with vendors and suppliers.
9. Comply with EH&S guidelines and overall processes.
10. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A Technical degree
• Certificate and credentials in CAD/CAM, Lean manufacturing

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experienced with Intergraph P&ID production, Microstation 2D drafting, Intergraph 3D drafting and Navisworks 3D modeling.
