The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Job Purpose:
Utilizes his Operations knowledge and experience to operate the plant in a safe and optimal manner from the console using the process automation system in place.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Follows Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems, through direct interaction with the Process Automation system in the unit.
• Performs tasks assigned to operations as per Master Task List field checks, equipment preparation, samples, etc.
• Ensures operational activities and process performance are aligned with Plant, Site and business goals.
• Uses trouble shooting skills to resolve process related deviations and problems.
• As required, initiates and participates in Root Cause Investigations.
• Coaches and train others on plant operations.
• Performs immediate response activities assigned by Immediate Response Leader.
• Uses process knowledge and skills to make improvements in plant performance and Operating Discipline.
• Monitors, collects and inputs plant metrics for Statistical Process Control (S.P.C.), asset utilization, conversion costs, production yields and identify opportunities for plant optimization.
• Utilizes S.P.C. tools to optimize plant operation and provide feedback on the effectiveness of the S.P.C. tools.
