The Role:
Responsible for the implementation of company construction, commissioning and HSE Procedures.
Deliver company Values and Leadership approach.
Ensure implementation of management processes, PEM and AKiMS.
Ensure safe, successful implementation of modifications offshore.
Assure excellence in construction delivery.
Identify, develop, maintain and improve construction and commissioning procedures.
Leading, guiding and supporting the construction and commissioning personnel and teams both on and offshore.
Responsible for day-to-day contact with assets.
Setting out health & safety standards as per company procedures within the offshore team.
Setting workscope priorities in line with the project plan.
Assigning workscopes within the onshore construction and commissioning team.
Ensuring timely delivery of construction workpacks and commissioning procedures.
Ensuring quality of the deliverables is maintained in line with corporate standards and procedures.
Manage the compilation of construction and commissioning jobcards/workpacks/procedures and ensure that HS & E expectations are met onshore and offshore.
Raise change requests and provides input to cost and planning departments as required.
Attends weekly clients progress meetings and provide input to weekly and monthly project reports
Occasional offshore visits to liaise with offshore team, carryout audits to ensure compliance with procedures, workpacks and to carry out team briefings in conjunction with safety and HR depts.
Interface with Engineering Design and Offshore Operations teams.
Estimating for and the development of work packs.
Management of mobilisation and logistics.
Responsibility for successful planning and delivery offshore.
Responsibility for supervision of labour.
Ensure safe and environmentally successful completion.
Management of materials, plant and equipment offshore.
Offshore site visits to monitor performance.
Develop and monitor staff competence.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
HNC Construction related or equivalent
Previous experience of supervising construction and commissioning engineers
Good understanding of the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry and applicable construction standards/legislation
Task Risk Assessment
Previous experience in an offshore supervisory role
Demonstrable UKCS experience of brownfield projects
Good leadership skills to lead others onshore and offshore
Ability to work with self motivation and confidence
Highly organised and able to prioritise jobs
