The Company:
Our client, a major Oil & Gas owner/operator, is seeking expertise for their ongoing mega-projects in Alberta.

The Role:
• Ten years experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in Brown Field Construction, with relevant experience in the construction of overland piping systems.
• Promote and implement safe working practices in the workplace.
• Ability to liaise with construction contractors and projects group.
• Ability to plan and sequence work to ensure adherence to operational requirements.
• Ability to plan manpower and resource requirements for work execution, including the management of owner supplied services (cranage, scaffolding etc.)
• Manage the correction of deficiency lists for final acceptance.
• Ability to provide pre-commissioning and commissioning support.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Red Seal or other applicable Mechanical Trade Qualification
• 15 years supervisory experience in a mechanical and piping construction environment, preferably in the Oil Sands.
• CSTS or PSTS
• WHMIS
• OSSA Orientation
• OSSA-Accredited Confined Space
• OSSA-Accredited Fall Protection
• Must have a positive attitude to promote safety and environmental awareness in the workplace.
• Must be able to work in a team environment towards promoting the interest of the employer.
• Must be able to perform well under pressure in a fast paced environment, accustomed to meeting tight schedules.
