Major Oil & Gas Client - Midland TX

The Role:
The purpose of this position is to support the field billing and invoicing process, and provide field tracking cost control support on the Permian Asset.

A regional Project Services team exists in within Onshore Projects whose mission is to develop and deliver the project management services for all projects. Within this Project Services Team the Construction Cost Analyst will support the cost control activities at the work sites.

The principal accountabilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
•Field cost support including tracking field tickets and monitor construction cost on a daily basis
•Assist in managing SAP charge codes in the field and interface with the Cost Engineer in the project office (Houston)
•Support the billing and invoicing process and ensure Subcontractor compliance with established cost control methodology.
•Support Material Management in SAP and assist in transfer of equipment and material to proper SAP codes.
•Working with team members supporting a rapid growing project portfolio.
•Daily tracking of costs of facilities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Advance Computer skills in Excel and Access database (desired)
•Must have a “Team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
•Ability to work in a dynamic environment among multiple projects and ability to support ad-hoc requests. Must be flexible.
•Cost and/or supply chain (procurement) experience (desired).

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Working experience with SAP is desirable
