The Role:
The Construction Delivery Manager is responsible for the management of the EPC Contractor in the execution of Major Projects emanating from FEED Contractor including internal and external compliance, and is the Construction Authority for the Major Projects including Standards set in accordance with applicable regulatory and Best International Petroleum Industry Practice. The Construction Delivery Manager reports to the Major Projects Manager of Construction and is responsible for assisting contractors in Greenfields and Brownfields work including SIMOP Shutdowns. Will provide functional leadership and expertise and will work closely with the Operations and Facilities Manager in Shutdowns as required and the Contractor programmes and standards. �Health and Safety; to be a strong advocate of Health, Safety & Environment and be seen to lead by example, monitor safety processes for the Project Team in accordance with Best International Petroleum Industry Practice drawing on expertise. Follow measurement and ongoing monitoring processes, and set targets for improvement. �Environment; monitor the environmental issues. Monitoring processes and set targets for improvement with Contractors. �Engineering Integrity; Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards, working closely with the Contractor/Operations on Integrity Management programmes including Change Management policy and documentation processes. �Staff Development; training and development of Local Personnel for Integrity training programmes throughout the Project Skills and Qualifications: �Strong background in Construction/Fabrication/Engineering. �Experience in HSE Integrity with strong execution delivery and interpersonal skills demonstrated in leadership and influencing in these areas. �Extensive industry experience in a variety of roles that demonstrate skills progression leading to Contractors. �Relevant experience in successive roles includes managing EPCM Contractors Management, including operations/maintenance. �Leading in Constructability and Methodology roles as needed. �Good persuasion skills with effective communication skills demonstrated internally and externally. �Well developed staff coaching and development skills for passing on experience to juniors.
