The Company:
Our client is a leading engineering contractor and project integrator for the nuclear industry. They have been at the heart of the UK nuclear industry for more than 50 years. During that time they have designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a wide range of nuclear equipment and plant for both the power generation and defence markets.

The Role:
As a Construction Director your main duties will involve:

• Managing and executing all project construction activities on a major thermal power project.
• Inputting to project cost reports by providing informed accurate forecasting data so as to predict actual project commercial outcome.
• Forecasting, planning, and obtaining appropriate resources.
• Supporting all aspects of multi-discipline EPC contracts.
• Defining local C&E strategies.
• Reviewing operations against programme on a regular basis

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Construction Director you will have experience:

• Vast experience of large scale power generation projects.
• Knowledge and experience in the construction execution of EPC projects.
• Knowledge of international projects involving consortium partners.
• Relevant construction/engineering degree or equivalent.
