The Company:
Our client is a leading energy company and one of the most successufl business in LNG industry.

The Role:
Main Roles :

Lead and support electrical construction activities of the Project Recovery Project for both off- and on-plot locations.
Actively promote HSE adherence throughout the site and enforce proper use of PPEs by all workforce. A Safety Moment/discussion shall be included in every team and project meeting. Correct unsafe work practices on site and complete Safety Observation Cards as applicable.
Be aware of SIMOPS requirements and ensure contractors work in accordance with the appropriate PTW.
Participate in site progress meetings and highlight areas of concern which could impact schedule to management team. Ensure all interface issues are promptly addressed. Track and report daily/weekly progress and provide monthly summaries.
Highlight engineering issues and participate in resolution meetings with site PMT and if necessary, with Houston support team as well via teleconferences.
Review and approve Engineering and Vendor documents as needed in a timely fashion.
Provide technical input to facilitate the completion of Change Request and CO Technical Reviews if necessary.
Ensure Contractor adheres to all drawings and details thereon to erect facilities in accordance with specifications. Contractors’ valid RFIs and TQs shall be promptly addressed to avoid delays.
Be conversant with Contractors’ plans and milestones and work with them to achieve and complete construction and PMC activities on time. Propose and work solutions with contractors for improvements to meet schedule dates based on personal competence and leadership.
Develop effective working relationship with contractors and encourage them by commendations when so deserving.
Develop trust and positive team spirit within the Electrical Group.
Coordinate construction activities at both Partner and project 132KV Substations. Ensure interface tie-in between the two stations is hitch-free.
Be a technical resource to direct and assist engineers and supervisors in effectively performing their duties.
Review Lessons Learned and design changes from this and other projects with Contractors as applicable.
Conduct quality surveillance and address non-conformances. Ensure adequate monitoring of equipment and material preservation within the electrical discipline. Generate NCRs if necessary.
Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Provide technical input to facilitate and assist Contractor to safely energize all electrical systems.
Review B Check-sheets and testing Method Statements for PMC activities. Attend and witness system testing as required.
Review Energization and PMC PTW and LOTO to ensure work is carried out safely.
Participate in safety walk-downs, generate, categorize and clear System Punch Lists. Liaise with partners to organize PSSRs.
Work with Turn-over Group to ensure all Completions and Turnover dossiers – DCCs & SMCCs- are complete and signed-off.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide effective technical direction for all electrical construction activities across the site.
• Be a focal point for ensuring prject interface is seamless.
• Ensure HSE guidelines are adhered to throughout project execution. Provide guidance to and encourage Contractors to practice and promote safety. Lead by example by attending all HSE trainings.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the approved specifications and drawings.
• Respond to Contractors’ RFIs and TQs in timely manner in order to progress work. Obtain prior management approval for any changes that might involve additional cost.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and site supervisors/inspectors.
• Attend progress meetings and review schedule impacts. Identify potential problem areas and raise management attention in timely fashion. Prepare weekly progress reports and provide monthly progress summaries.
• Attend construction and engineering coordination and interface meetings. Play an active role in finding solutions to construction problems and incompatibility issues.
• Discuss any concerns with Lead Construction Superintendent as may be applicable.
• Apply Lessons Learnt to maximize benefits to project.
• Review and approve Method Statements, particularly in relation to safe energization of electrical switchgear, equipment and systems.
• Provide guidance and participate in PMC activities. Make sure punch lists are generated, categorized and cleared.
• Be careful to ensure all approved changes to drawings and documents are accurately red-marked for transfer onto as-built records.
• Delegate activities to ensure effective resource utilization.
• Provide leadership and participate in commissioning activities.
• Enforce the proper application of PTWs, LOTO and other supporting certificates during all site walk-downs, testing and commissioning activities.
• Liaise with partners to perform and document all PSSRs.
