The Role:
This role is initially to cover 2 platforms from a CP/MD delivery perspective as well as another Project.The position is to ensure that all construction and commissioning activities on the offshore assets, are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with current legislation and associated procedures.



Supervisory and Managerial Duties:

Main Duties:
Overall responsibility for delivery of implementation phase of assigned workscopes, including offshore construction, commissioning and closeout.
Liaising with Project Engineers to ensure correct priorities are being maintained.
Liaising with design and development engineers to ensure that contents of work packs meet scope requirements.
Develop workpacks, jobcards and certification requirements from drawings and project information.
Maintaining close liaison with assigned platforms to support and monitor all platform engineering and modification activities to ensure effective implementation. Reviewing weekly progress with offshore engineers.
Input into 28 Day / 90 Day / Offshore Construction Level 4 Schedule & Histograms.
Supply Offshore Construction POB requirements by workpack.
Managing and reporting progress of work pack development. Accountable for the delivery of construction workpacks to meet project schedule.
Active involvement in managing productivity, offshore growth and NPT.
Management of Engineering Standby for Asset.
Management of Plant and Equipment mobilised for CP workscopes
Advise Material Controller of Offshore Construction Material requirements and availability
Liaising with logistics on resourcing issues
Liaising with engineering disciplines to effect timely responses to Engineering Queries.
Monitoring Punch-list closeouts post offshore handover.
Liaising with vendors and sub-contractors, raising the necessary IAP Change Requests and Work Orders where applicable.
Maintaining link with Engineering focal point.
Maintaining close cooperation with maintenance to ensure successful delivery across all scopes.
Contributing to a positive outcome at the Asset Operating Review and Return Review meetings by consistently delivering and responding proactively to changing priorities.

Education & Qualifications:
Apprenticeship or equivalent
ONC/ HNC


Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Mechanical construction background, whether time-served, offshore construction person or onshore based design/engineering.
Fabrication & construction knowledge/ back ground
Sound knowledge and experience of construction methods, planning and reporting
Current Offshore Medical/ Survival
Computer competence is required


Experience:
Experienced in Offshore Construction workpack development or similar.
Proven Oil & Gas Onshore & Offshore related experience or similar.


Personal Skills:
Organised and willing operate within a team environment.
Ability to communicate well with people at all levels within the company.
Demonstrable supervisory skills.
Strong leadership qualities.
