The Role:
Construction Engineer


Supervisory and Managerial Duties:

Accountable to the Senior Construction Engineer to undertake all requirements associated with the specific asset construction Works Instructions in a consistent manner and deliver all scopes through from development and close out with the given time frames



Main Duties:
Accountable to the Senior Construction Engineer for day-to-day activities of construction engineering and execution.
Responsible for construction engineering in support of modifications to the production and transportation facilities on time, safely and within budget.
Compilation of engineering work instructions relevant to the specific project.
Reporting the development and administration of construction engineering schedule, budgets and deliverables. Interfacing with U.K. Operations Projects Management, discipline engineers, business services and vendors.
Ensure all construction engineering activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Core Values delivering superior HSE performance.
Support engineering technical excellence while working across groups to leverage and priorities resources.
Support shutdown coordination and delivery across U.K. assets.
Assisting with identifying lessons learned and knowledge transfer opportunities within U.K. assets and other CoP organisations.
Immediately advise the Senior Construction Engineer of issues, concerns, matters relating to project activities that may have an impact on HSE, schedule and/or budget.




Health and Safety Responsibilities:
Fully conversant with U.K. regulatory environment and standard offshore international and national standards and specifications



Education & Qualifications:
HN in engineering / construction discipline or equivalent.



Time served trade background.



Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Accomplished time management, planning and organisational skills.



Experience:
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Significant experience in engineering and construction.
