The Role:
•Review contractor design to verify the constructability of all brownfield piping tie-ins, electrical/ instruments and structural scopes, taking account of standard brownfield limitations and constraints.
•Verify all contractor brownfield construction plans and manhour estimates, particularly to confirm duration of shutdown tie-in manhour estimates.
•Review and approve shutdown workpacks on behalf of the company.
•Take a proactive approach to incorporating safety into the Topsides design. Work with fellow PMT discipline engineers and contractor engineers to develop engineering solutions which minimise the potential for incidents throughout the project and subsequent field-life.
•Lead construction work offshore and onshore during shutdowns and general execution phase.
•Work in compliance with the agreed management of change and risk management processes. Act as Focal Point for any brownfield construction-related management of change, specification changes, deviations, etc. to quantify and manage associated quality, cost and/ or schedule impacts.
•Responsible for proactively managing the project safety performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant discipline experience within oil and gas industry.
Previous offshore experience essential – current offshore survival/ medical.
Ability to demonstrate understanding of how to develop construction plans and methods which reduce risk, reduce the potential for incidents throughout the project and field-life and improve safety.
Highly motivated, proactive problem-solving individual with strong interpersonal skills, ability to self-start, work unsupervised, take a lead and show initiative.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Commercial and contractual awareness.
Ability to communicate technically complex/ novel concepts to non-specialists.
