The Role:
Position Summary: The Construction Engineer will be responsible for developing the Construction Plan, Procedure and Schedule. and for managing all of the works at the plant site. The Construction Engineer will also manage all of the works at the plant site and all of the work by the sub-contractor, and shall report to Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
Developing the construction plan (which shall cover the overall construction strategy and the subcontracting strategy), procedure and schedule based on the Design Drawings for Equipment, Machinery, Piping, Structure and so on, and related laws and regulations including health safety, security and environmental.
Developing the construction detail schedule based on the master schedule.
Coordinating with the inter-discipline for the construction work.
Developing the man allocation plan for SVs.
Preparing the construction procedure (such work procedure, painting, insulation, HSE and so on) as per the contract.
Executing the construction planning as per the company SOP.
Executing the construction study based on the 3D Model.
Preparing the site organization chart for the construction supervision.
Planning all the temporary facilities.
Preparing the construction BQ and making the tender documents for every construction subcontract.
Issuing the inquiry documents, receiving the quotation, evaluating such quotation both in the technical and commercial aspects, and finalizing the subcontract after clarification and negotiation with the Subcontractor
Planning the preliminary lifting and rigging.
Studying the transportation to determine the requirements for the transportation of heavy or oversized equipment to the Site.
Establishing the procedures for coordinating the Subcontractor's activities and the interfaces between the Subcontractors
Managing with Sub Contract to develop the allocation of the resources to meet with the construction plan and schedule

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred or equivalent combination of education or experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience for EPC, Engineering Company that deals with the design, feasibility studies, bidding, engineering, construction & procurement activities of large chemical, environmental and similar type of plants.
Ability to work well as an integral part of a large Project Team that includes all Engineering disciplines
Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks / projects.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals both inside and outside the organisation.
