The Role:
-Provide HSSE leadership, guidance and personal example to the construction workforce to support a positive safety culture. Conduct and record daily Safety audits, conversations or reviews providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.
-Provide verification that the EPC contractor is executing work in full conformance and compliance with their own standards, plans and designs.
-Review and approval of EPC contractor workpacks in line with the Activity Planning gated process of 12, 6 and 2 weeks gate criteria.
-Actively participate in constructability programme at formal reviews as well as during workpack reviews and observations made on site. Bring local knowledge and lessons learned to the constructability process to maximise opportunity for construction safety, efficiency or schedule benefit.
-Provide assurance to the Project Construction Manager of conformance to the construction functional expectations
-Review quality of work standards as well as compliance with design intent at all stages of construction, but in particular when system or package is offered by EPC contractor as complete. Follow GOC processes to verify satisfactory completion, raising any non-conformances as appropriate and accepting on behalf of completed work when no non-conformances exist.
-Drive productivity, efficiency and productive time through supporting and advising the EPC contractor, intervening if necessary to resolve or escalate issues or concerns to PCM
-Directly manage specialist contractors as required.
-Liaison and interface with the Operations and asset teams as necessary

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Must have experience of working in the Oil and Gas sector (onshore experience preferred)
-Must have experience of construction supervision or management on major projects
-Must have a strong drive and track record of delivery of safety performance and quality workmanship
