The Role:
Liberty Construction Engineer Mechanical Piping Site Lead
North Slope

This document describes the roles and responsibilities of the North Slope Construction organization for construction and rig-up activities at SDI.

Integral to the strategy for successful completion of this Project in all areas, it shall be the responsibility of all project personnel to follow the requirements of the Liberty HSSE Plan and to:

• Conduct one documented SOC per day
• Attend daily tool box meetings and weekly safety meetings
• Be a role model for other personnel by following all HSSE rules and practices and by stopping any unsafe acts
• Behave safely, including personal ownership of implementation and enforcement of good safety practices in all aspects within their scope of work. They shall immediately report any unsafe behavior/safety practices to the proper personnel
• Ensure that their scope of work and responsibilities are consistent with the Project’s goals and objectives, demonstrating their understanding of their roles and responsibilities
• Adhere to the requirements of the Integrity Management standard in their daily work assignments
• Conduct themselves in a professional manner, always adhering to the Company Code of Conduct and all other company policies, as applicableStrive to influence contractors and service personnel in the Company principles of Heath, Safety and Environmental protection, regardless of the work location
• Proactively reduce cost and schedule delays by anticipating problems rather than react to them
• Understand the work plan, the cost estimate and schedule, monitor and correct as required

Construction Engineer – Mechanical / Piping
The Construction Manager will hold this position to account for:
• Ensure that all personnel follows their HSSE plans and procedures on a 24-hour per day basis
• Be the Greenfield Issuing Authority for the various module/area during day shift
• Lead one Hazard Hunts per month and participate in Hazard Hunts initiated by others
• Ensure Parker and their sub-contractor’s work is in accordance with Company's requirements on a day-to-day field level and reporting back to the Construction Manager as appropriate
• Ensure changes and modifications are documented properly
• Drive the timely response to Requests For Information (RFI)
• Ensure regulatory permits are communicated, followed and reported
• Own the work assigned, be able to paint a picture of the end goal / purpose of the work
• Proactively reduce cost and schedule delays by anticipating problems rather than react to them
• Understand the work plan, the cost estimate and schedule, monitor and correct as required
• Assist ADW with the Pre Start-Up Safety Review (PSSR)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Construction Engineer, applicants must have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent technical experience;
- Willingness and ability to work a 12-hour day/night shift, 7 days a week on a rotational basis in a remote location;
- Experience in a construction management role;
- Minimum of 8 years of construction experience in mechanical, civil and/or structural engineering disciplines;
- Demonstrated knowledge of cost control, cost reporting and project schedule management;
- Demonstrated track record of multi-project coordination with projects in varying phases of completion;
- Knowledge of commissioning turnover systems;
