The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
A large part of the role will be to provide construction expertise to both the contractor and company teams, utilizing an array of experience so as to ensure the best and most cost effective construction methods are used throughout the EPC execution phase

Your primary responsibilities are to include:

The Construction Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the management of main Contractor during the Onshore Facility Construction Phase at Blaydin Point.
• Ensure best practice construction considerations and methods are delivered to the project for EPC related activities.
• Participate as a member of Construction Management team to provide advice on construction ‘best practices’ to senior onshore team members, as required.
• Maintain and continually improve contemporary construction knowledge.
• Where required, support the interface between construction and engineering by assisting discipline engineers to carry out constructability reviews.
• Provide input to the Contractor in relation to module and stick built erection methods and installation methodologies during all phases of the EPC project Execution Phase of the project.
• Assist Operations team to ensure Construction methods meet design requirements for LNG operability, pre-commissioning, plant start-up and safe operations.
• Extensive Physical presence on the subcontractor worksite and offices (main HQ shall be office arranged in subcontractor’s premises).
• Provide daily and weekly report to the U&O area Lead.

For this position you will require the following skills and experience:
• Able to interpret drawings and construction schedules and to understand specifications and/or Standards and knowledge of Australian Workplace and/or Safety Legislation.
• Demonstrable experience of compliance to HSE Management systems and procedures.
• Sound understanding of the oil and gas business including building and infrastructure development projects.
• Sound understanding of the oil and gas business including onshore gas plant, refinery or power plant projects.
• Experience with Client or EPC Tier 1 Contractor on major onshore greenfield construction project.
• Demonstrable experience in managing major contractors in the execution of multiple scopes, including SMP and E&I, progress reporting and cost reporting.
• Familiar with: generators / Motor, Compressors, Water treatment plants, heavy lifts, piping, vessels.
