The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
•Ensuring the safe and effective receipt and storage of materials for the Company Project at designated North Slope receiving areas.
•This is a North Slope based 2 week on 2 week off rotational construction position.
•Must be able to work effectively with a back to back alternate.
•Temporary assignment to Anchorage, Kenai, or Fairbanks may be required to support the Company Project.

HSE and Training
•Safety Leadership – Commitment to an incident free workplace is paramount. Demonstrated safety leadership shall be initiated through attendance and participation:
•Advocating the Company Zero Incident Culture (ZIC)
•Advocating the Company Incident Free Culture (IFC)
•Attend Weekly Safety Meetings
•Participate in job-site walk downs
•Participate in safety assessments.
•Participate or audit in daily Task Hazard Assessment (THA)/Safety Environmental Task Assessment (SETA) development with work crews to ensure completeness, applicability, and compliance.

Materials and Logistics Management
•Monitor and report project material status.
•Monitor and report project material movement (logistics) information to The Company Project Team.
•Assist in the resolution of material procurement, logistics, expediting, and availability issues, as assigned.
•Assist in the resolution of material(s) overages, shortages, and damaged materials issues.
•Assist in the interface between engineering/procurement, The Company Project Team, and their Contractor(s).

Project Materials Schedule and Budget
•Monitor, evaluate and report material(s) delivery schedule progress.
•Identify areas of concern based on evaluation of material delivery schedules

Construction Execution
•Assist in the development and review of Contractor Readiness documents regarding materials and logistics.

Integrated Change Management
•Participate in the evaluate Project Change Requests (PCR’s) for any materials/logistics impact, as required.

Contract Management
•Assist the Quality Assurance Department in the audit of Contractor(s) Materials Management / Logistics Plans to ensure compliance.
•Assist with contract closeout, as assigned.

•Provide input into the development of Contractor execution schedules, as required.

Materials and Logistics Management
•Assist in the receipting/receiving of materials, as required.

Closeout/Lessons Learned
•Document lessons learned throughout the project duration.

Risk Management
•Participate in the identification of material / logistic risks to project success, and the development of mitigation/avoidance measures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
•Minimum of 5 years of Construction & Materials Logistics experience.
•Proficiency in basic computer skills and operations including the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
•Possess a valid driver’s license.
•Knowledge of HAZMAT and DOT Regulations.
•Customer service and attention to detail to support interface and communication with various companies and organizations, both in person and via telephone.
•Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelor Degree
•Military Service
•Prior Alaska North Slope /remote experience
•Experience with coordination of material receiving / shipping operations and off-loading / load-out operations.
•Experience with Material Tracking / Inventory Control.
•Advanced computer skills and proficiency in construction and business management software such as SAP, JDE, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
•Strong demonstrated leadership, communication, public speaking, ability to influence, and organizational skills.
