The Role:
Hook-up Support Manager
The Hook-Up Support manager will report to the PGM

General Description

The responsibilities of the Hook-Up Support Manager include, but are not limited to, the following;

Offshore Execution Phase:
• Provide leadership on HSSE issues and in particular set by example the framework and behaviours necessary to deliver the team’s commitment to no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of Construction Engineers, responsible for ensuring that the HU Contractor is resolving technical and non-technical queries from offshore team in a timely manner.
• Assure delivery of HU Contractor and third parties to ensure all aspects of onshore support are operating to facilitate the delivery of offshore milestones.
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of the offshore construction work-scope, including knowledge of which work falls under HU Base, Carryover and Offshore Discovery categories.
• Ongoing monitoring of Hook-up Execution plan, taking into account the requirements for construction support, vendor/subcontract management, logistics, permit support, etc. Identify necessary work-fronts that require progress interventions. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with the primary aim of improving productivity.
• Input to the project plan and set milestones – and report on the project dashboards
• Act as Focal-Point for onshore administration of the Technical Query and Growth processes. Ensure HU Contractor compliance with the same and assure all associated reporting for project leadership.
• Liaise with the and Hook-up Contractor’s planners to maintain the 12 week and 6-Weeks gate readiness process, including assurance that all Job-cards, Materials, Vendors are available to work the 6-week look-ahead plan. No compliance with the processes will result in potential removal of scope or additional intervention planning and oversight.
• Liaise with PSCM on Materials Management, Vendor Coordination / Mobilisation and Subcontracts administration.
• Identify attendees to Factory acceptance testing, training requirements to ensure smooth transition through HU.
• Active participant in systemisation of the project and will be a key player in scope change and modification of system limits. The HU manager is accountable for the delivery of all Construction Certification to meet technical Integrity requirements.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all required project entities, including HSE, Engineering, Commissioning, Start-Up and Operations, during offshore execution activities and best practices from past and existing projects and operations are integrated into the hook-up plans.
• Make frequent trips offshore to liaise with Offshore teams with the aim of resolving performance related issues.
