The Role:
Working on a 28/28 rotation basis, the CPF Construction Manager will be responsible for :
Assisting the site manager to set up an organization able to deliver economically a plant ready for operation on a project;
Managing and supervising the execution of the works at Central Processing Facilities ensuring achievement of approved cost, schedule, quality and HSE targets.
Ensuring that the allocated human resources are utilized in the most efficient and effective way to meet the Project objectives.
Ensuring all internal and external construction interfaces and to manage contracts key dates to meet project milestones;
Completing the work with due regard to safety of personnel and company assets while still meeting project key dates;
HSE & social issues;

Main tasks :
Define, mobilize and manage an organization which will cover all CPF construction activities;
Ensure that all CPF construction activities are performed safely and efficiently in accordance with the project management system;
Oversee all site teams activities to ensure that all technical, contractual and cost information are properly recorded, collated and available for inspection/reference as required by law, regulations and company policies;
Identification/Anticipation and mitigation of deficiencies and development of solution to problems encountered during construction;
Manage CPF construction interfaces with others : Engineering, other sub-projects, operations;
Promote the reputation of the project among partners and external groups, as a high quality, cost effective service to future users;
Implement and monitor site performance with respect to safety, health, environmental and social issues, and ensure project objectives are attained;
Acting as client representative for all construction activities towards the Main Contractor/s in charge for Central Processing Facilities (CPF)
Ensuring that the HSE Objectives of the Project are met, through identification of areas of risk and application of adequate measures.
Management and control of the overall CPF construction works throughout construction, field engineering and operation groups;
Adequate scheduling and cost control for site construction activities;
Implementation of the HSE, security plan;
Implementation of the Quality Control Plan;
Supervision of construction works in accordance with the established safety
Site inspections as per QC plan;
Availability of documents, drawings and material for the realization of the construction works within the established program;
Managing the day to day progress of project execution ensuring that the project budget and allocated resources are utilized in the most efficient and effective way to meet the project and Company’s objectives
Closely monitoring actual project progress and costs and instigate / coordinate any corrective actions required to keep project on budget and on time.
Reporting progress of the project costs trend on a regular weekly and monthly basis to management
Ensuring that all interfaces are adequately defined, monitored and managed
Ensuring the Main Contractor produces all documentation and procedures required to run the site construction activities and hand over to the Company in a timely and orderly manner and meets the contractual requirements.
Managing and coordinating the construction works ensuring the adequate information exchange and resolving queries and critical situations.
Managing the performance and delivery from Main contractors.
Definition of the completion targets/systems in order to perform the commissioning activities in the required sequence;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in engineering or applied technologies
Extensive construction experience in oil & gas industry and participation in similar major complex installations, preferences for EPC, gas facilities and remote desert location experience.
Must have thorough knowledge of construction practices, economic principles, international codes, standards, procedures and specifications.
English & French mandatory. Arabic highly desirable
