The Company:
Our client is a leading oil and gas service company.

The Role:
The Contract Construction Manager is responsible for assisting the Company Project Manager in Project Execution Planning and field implementation of multiple projects at various facilities on the pipeline. This position will be based mainly in the field during implementation with some time spent in Fairbanks or Anchorage offices.

Principle functions include:
- Working with the Project Manager, develop Project Execution Plans with supporting documents which includes, but not limited to:
- Develop Cost Estimates, Schedules, Work Breakdown Structures, and Economic Analysis.
- Conduct Constructability Reviews and Risk Assessments.
- Supervise and provide day to day oversight over all field construction activities to ensure that all phases of the project meet cost, schedule, regulatory, safety, quality, and operational requirements.
- Assist with engineering design efforts to include identifying and communicating specific and unique design requirements.
- Ensure the timely development of all work procedures and other documentation required for successful project execution. This includes working with the client in the development of temporary or safe operating procedures and with contractors in the development of safe project procedures.
- Provide oversight over all procurement activities.
- Coordinate on-site activities for other internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain active and continuous interface with the clients and ensure the final product is delivered in accordance with the agreed scope and objectives.
- Support the project engineer in turnover and close out deliverables.
- Support the project manager in scope, cost, and schedule development, progress reporting, and forecasting.
- Provide field coverage for multi-discipline projects. Provide concise turnover notes and interface with alternate CMs as required to meet project goals.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience managing industrial construction projects.
- Experience maybe substituted for education requirements.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in petrochemical, oil, and gas with preference toward pipeline experience.
- Experience in pipeline shutdowns or plant turnarounds is preferred.
- This is a project schedule. Frequent field assignments at remote facilities will be required.
-Candidate must be able to multi task and work on several projects at several locations.
- MR-48 certifications 5-7 years
- FG-78 certification 5-7 years
- Proficient in Company Project Data Storage system 3-5 years
- Proficient in MS Outlook/MS Word/MS Excel 5-7 Years
- Must possess a valid Alaska Driver's license
- Experience leading project roll-out meetings

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree or Associate degree in Project Management 2-4 years
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 2 years
- A minimum of 10 years Experience with Mechanical/Civil Engineering in the energy industry.
- Experienced in the IMPACT reporting system 3-5 years
- Familiarity with the ARTS radio system and equipment usage
- Proficient in the Company Projects Department closeout process 3-5 years
