The Company:
Our client is a major oil and gas company within Australia and is the largest producer of gas to the domestic market within the country. Active for more than 40 years, they have the largest exploration portfolio by area and are currently listed as one of Australia's Top 30 Companies.

The Role:
- Develop and manage company site team(s) for completion of construction activities in accordance with project objectives, priorities, and contracts
- Manage multiple projects over a wide geographical area with multiple engineering and construction contractors
- Administer contracts for multiple construction contractors
- Serve as Santo’s single-point contact on-site for contractor site management
- Manage interfaces/interactions with contractors and other project functional groups (e.g., design, commissioning, Installation, Drilling, Operations) regarding construction issues
- Report progress, performance, initiatives, and issues to Project Manager; report to Manager CSG Projects with general updates, as needed

EHS Accountabilities:
- Undertake line management responsibility for field safety performance and achieve safety KPI’s through visible leadership and personal commitment
- Promote safety awareness and safe performance among Project Management Team members, including consultants and contractor personnel
- Daily monitoring of Contractor HSE compliance and participation in HSE site inspections and investigations
- Uphold and ensure compliance with EHS standards for performance and behaviour
- Implement programs to achieve the requirements of the EHSMS

Leadership Accountabilities:
- Coach and develop the team to continually improve EHS performance and effectiveness
- Set goals through performance and development discussions and deliver on agreed plans
- Set benchmarks and priorities for agreed goals and prioritise workload accordingly
- Adhere to company standards and processes
- Identify and implement agreed process improvements within scope of role, or change initiatives, as directed
- Give and receive clear and effective communication, share knowledge within and across team and give and receive feedback as per guidelines.

Job Accountabilities:
- Coordinate input to and review development of contractor’s detailed plans to complete the work
- Monitor and appraise the contractor’s performance for safety, quality, cost, and schedule; ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken when needed
- Deliver reports to keep management advised of progress, performance, initiatives, issues, challenges, and anticipated completion dates for subsequent start-up planning
- Administer the execution of the contract
- Review change requests and change assessments in accordance with Management of Change Plan
- Ensure contractor is implementing and maintaining an effective interface management system
- Assist contractor and subcontractors in achieving the contract expectations and requirements
- Verify physical progress and approve or endorse contractor invoices, as appropriate
- Lead lessons learned review and prepare close-out report sections upon completion of site work
- Provide input to appraisal process for assigned site personnel

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS/MS in Engineering
Extensive experience in Project Management and Execution experience
Experience working on oil and gas job sites
Exposure to Primavera (P6)
