The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
• Work for an international Oil & Gas company on their CSG-LNG assets
• Contract for between 12 and 24 months
• Site based position requiring regular travel to site locations
• Rotation:21/7-FIFO to Chinchilla

You will be responsible:
• Provide direction and support to Senior Management
• Regular reporting on the status of project, sub-contractor and contractor performance, resources, safety, environmental, schedule and support backup within projects
• Development of all assigned project plans, standards, policies and procedures
• Implement change management and supervisory processes across all construction related issues within projects
• Manage scoping and control resources affecting process, production and end dates, reviews, KPIs and completion processes
• Daily reporting on all projects including delivery of materials issues, accommodation, transport, labour and all resources affecting the works
• Providing direction to the superintendents, supervisors, sub-contractors and vendor personnel allocated to the individual projects and ensure that the safe progress of the works proceeds according to the overall schedules and achieve the objectives of the company

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Significant experience on large scale oil and gas projects from both an owners and contractors perspective
• Proven experience with safety management systems and the application of HSSE principles on construction projects
• Proven experience overseeing a team to achieve outcomes
• Proven experience managing contractors in line with a contract for service
• Proven experience dealing with external parties i.e. landowners, third party contractors/consultants etc
• Proven experience in project control and reporting systems
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent
• Understanding of the designated processes, systems and plant operations to enable the safe and successful completion of the works
• Ability to deliver a safe and committed team culture and meet project targets and priorities
• Ability to take projects from a specific engineering design through to construction, commissioning and handover to operations and manage the support services

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered member of relevant engineering institution, or equivalent
