The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company responsible for the Construction, Ownership and Operation of it's own Plants.

The Role:
Plan, direct or coordinate activities associated with the constructions and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems.

1. Participate in the associated conceptual development of a Construction Project Execution Plan and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting and implementation.
2. Plan the flow of work for a construction project, including estimating time, supplies, lay-down areas, and personnel required to complete the project.
3. In cooperation with Cost Engineer, initiate the construction project budget preparation, progress reports or cost tracking reports.
4. Oversee, coordinate and / or lead various construction project processes. In cooperation to with Procurement, prepare contracts and negotiate possible revisions and changes to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
5. Initiate meeting with clients to establish project scope, review estimates and communicate project status, work out and resolve problems or concerns.
6. Ensure the construction sites are safe and injury free. Must intervene and escalate concerns with safety and quality of work. Review and study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
7. Recommend a course of action based on project & customer needs and requirements. Reassess the project scope based on new information and data analysis, etc.
8. Ensure that the project is being carried out according to established Project Execution Plan(s).
9. Provide regular construction status reports and feedback to project leadership on key construction related milestones and any other issues impacting safety performance, project quality, costs or schedule.
10. Develop and/or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other relevant and applicable standards and regulations.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineering discipline– Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 8 years of working experience in an electrical engineering role.
