As the Construction Manager, you will be working with a world class resources & infrastructure business who heavily invest in their staff, technology and their facilities on a continual basis. As a civil / SMP experienced Construction Manger you have full accountability for the delivery of key resources / infrastructure projects while mentoring, coaching and guiding your own project team to reach critical timelines within project budget.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:
This important position requires you to have your wits about you. You'll be particularly efficient with controlling and coordinating your projects in line with authorised budgets and timelines. Your understanding of safety and quality management systems will ensure you run successful projects without any LTI incidents and ultimately ensure the safety of you and your project team while delivering an exceptional standard of project work. Your input on the development and construction phases of your projects will pay dividends as you work closely with the Project Manager, project support team and selected contractors. All the while, you'll be applying your sound judgement around the project plan and agreed contractual conditions, to ensure contractors and your project team perform their obligations under the work schedule.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We understand this role isn't for every talented Construction Manager and to be a successful candidate for this role, you'll need a firm understanding of civil, structural, mechanical and piping construction work, a really keen eye for detail and you will need to be a persuasive individual where continuous improvement is not just required, but desired. With close contact and working relationships with the project management team, you will play a significant part in supporting the business to ensure continued success.
