The Company:
Our client is one of the largest providers of energy consultancy and engineering support services in the Uk. Within the nuclear sector they have an exceptional reputation for delivering innovative, cost-effective business and engineering solutions to owners, operators, regulators and suppliers to nuclear licensed sites.

The Role:
As a result of growth, our client has 2 vacancies for Construction Managers. The roles will involve working with the engineering managers to ensure that the projects are performing in accordance with the required standards and procedures.

Responsibilities will be:

*Responsible for the safe delivery of all site based aspects of projects
*Responsible for all EHSSQ aspects of the project related to Site delivery
* Responsible for leading the construction team, including subcontractors, to deliver site works to cost, schedule and the specified quality level
* Responsible for the, monitoring and maintenance of scope, schedule and cost for all construction activities
*To ensure that all site work undertaken meets statutory, company and site requirements and is in accordance with relevant standards and specifications.
*Responsible for overall liaison with the Client through the appointed client representative
*To ensure all Site work is incorporated into the clients delivery schedules through the specified planning process
*To monitor and reporting progress, variance, issues and risks to the Project Manager on a routine basis
*To ensure lessons learned, expertise and required training within the construction area are distributed as appropriate.
*Contribute to the development of bids and proposals through supporting constructability reviews identifying site delivery strategies, developing submittals, and providing proposal text, diagrams, case studies, etc.

Additional Information
*Some work outside normal office hours may be necessary.
*This is an exciting time for our client, who are diversifying their portfolio to become a more global organisation, while also continuing to grow their Energy sector in the UK. There will be opportunities for international travel and applicants with a desire for non-UK based assignments will be welcomed.
*SC security clearance will be required
*Role will be for 12 months commencing 23rd- 30th January 2017
