The Role:
Operating in the installation of Electrical and Instrumentation systems and plants.

Base Requirements

Education: Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Languages: Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge in Italian language is an advantage
Informative Systems: MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Power Point), Windows Operating
System, Microsoft Project, knowledge in AutoCAD and PRIMAVERA is an advantage
Work experience: 15 years minimum

Competence and Skills
* Strong technical and organizational skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must possesses superior engineering skills
* Must have a strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents
* With at least 10 years of significant experience in working with Metro Railways is a must

Role Description
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Manager's duties and responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:
* To manage and supervise Electrical Construction Projects.
* Responsible for managing and supervising project activities including day to day coordination with client, supervision of Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians and direct/indirect project staff, contractual and financial issues to ensure successful running of Project including handling of contractual issues and client relations.
* Ultimately responsible to Manage all aspects of electrical scope for all locations including and not limited to the main switchgear and cable installations, cable route containment installations within stations, tunnels and ventilation shaft locations ensuring that they meet the EMC segregation requirements and sufficient capacity is available for signal, LV & HV power, fiber, ICT and fire cabling.
* Ensuring the installations are inspected in line with the ITP and requiring client sign off in readiness for final handover.
* Responsible for access planning, scheduling, planning of long lead items and costs of all activities of the Project to achieve timely completion of the Project and ensuring works are aligned with the civil, power and the signals team programmes and sign off and handover of assets.
* Provide guidance and support to the construction site teams to ensure all the health and safety measures are applied on the site by the construction personnel and in line with the HSE Plan.
* To be overall responsible for overseeing and effective execution of all related construction activities under the instructions of the Line Manager and Project Manager/Director.
* Managing documentation from method statement and risk assessments and (TQ) Technical Queries, (RFI) Request for Information to agree solutions to contractors/installers on site to ensure limited delays in programme.
* To evaluate the requirements of all project resources (materials, machinery, manpower) as per schedule and arrange interviewing and mobilization.
