The Company:
Major Oil & Gas Operator

The Role:
• Developing key Construction Execution deliverables during the end of Select and into Define phase.
• Assisting in the development and assessment of key strategic and tactical decisions and framing them into the Construction Execution Plan.
• Early development and implementation of Modularisation program, including HSSE and Quality
• Defining and implementing a rigorous Workfront management system
• Demonstrating full commitment to Goal Zero goals in all project activities
• Delivering PCAP’s for Define phase.
• Developing Project Execution Plans.
• Contribution to cost, schedule and resource management for construction deliverables
• Constructability and construction management planning.
• Setting up of various Constructability and Modularisation Workshops and reviews defined in PCAP for the project
• Participating in Risk Workshops, Hazid, etc. and reviewing and updating Risk Register.
• Helping develop framework of various construction management processes and procedures
• Manage the interfaces with other process units
• Support assessment and assignment of Module and pre-Fabrication yard capacity
• Develop precise Workpack approach to construction, including workpack structure, integration with master schedule, KPI’s, E&P deliverables. Effective use of 4&5D planning tools.
• Coordinate efforts with major third party providers and overall NA Umbrella initiatives
• Coordinate materials and design delivery to support Module and Workpack programs.
• Lead the Constructability work stream activities for a Process Unit.
• Champion efficient lean construction as an objective of the Execution Strategy and the associated Contracting Strategy
• Tailor construction and execution approaches to the regional contracting market and capabilities
• C&P strategy: Participate and influence with construction perspectives.
• Establish and maintain good working relations with Project, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations counterparts.
(shops and site) and start-up.
• Manage Risk during the execution phase
• During execution, effective management of the Construction Contractors.
• Champion TQ performance against measurable construction targets as part of the overall project TQ gap closure plan
• Ensure the application of the Quality Management Plan during the construction phase

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years in major project engineering, preferably with construction and modularization experience.
Demonstrated leadership in construction of onshore mega-projects.
Demonstrated Goal Zero and Flawless leadership and active support for the corporate position on Sustainable Development, safety, health, environment, diversity, respectful workplace, and the General Business Principles and Code of Ethics.
Experience of managing Contractor activities during FEED, Detailed Design and Construction for major projects would be a clear advantage.
