The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Inspect structures and equipment by applying engineering skills and construction knowledge to determine structural soundness and compliance with specifications, building codes, safety standards, and other regulations.
1. Inspect bridges, highways, buildings, wiring, plumbing, electrical circuits, sewers, heating systems, or foundations during and after construction for structural quality, general safety, and conformance to project specifications and codes.
2. Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, or construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations.
3. Use survey instruments, metering devices, tape measures, and test equipment, such as concrete strength measurers, to perform inspections.
4. Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, or elevation of structures or fixtures to ensure compliance to building plans and codes.
5. Ensure plumbing, wiring, equipment or appliances installed adhere to project specifications and applicable regulations.
6. Conduct periodic inspection of construction sites and observe conformance to safety standards and building codes.
7. Monitor construction activities to ensure environmental health and safety standards are not violated. Issue violation notices and stop-work orders, consulting with stakeholders, violators and authorities for corrective actions.
8. Maintain records of inspection and provide regular progress updates to customers and stakeholders.
9. Collaborate with maintenance and technical support engineers in performing vendor evaluation.
10. Assist the Project Management Team in supporting pre-start-up, safety and reliability audit activities.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor / manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High school graduate or two (2) year Diploma in a related field.
• Twelve (12) years of relevant work experience for high school graduates and ten (10) years for Diploma holders.
