The Company:
Our client, an international major oil and gas operator, seeks a Construction Representative to join their team.

The Role:
• Responsible for safety, efficiency, quality and execution of onshore construction work supporting the upstream operations in the MCA Rockies North (Wyoming)
• Provides day-to-day supervision of activities related to Facility Engineering project construction work executed by local contractors
• Responsible for executing project work to ensure Incident Free Operations, reduce operating downtime and optimize production, aligning the facilities with the current production needs
• Contributes to development and mentoring of new Facilities Engineers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience and job knowledge associated with the maintenance and upgrade of mature upstream assets including welding and NDT, excavation and site work, rigging and lifting, general power line and I&E work; working around live operating facilities

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Extensive site experience with SOP's, Permit to Work systems, hot work, Job Safety Analysis, SIMOPS, risk mitigation plans, contractor safety and safety work processes related to construction activities. Able to respond to emergency situations
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective on site supervision of construction activities and contract construction crews to insure conformance with safety policies, project plans, and enforce design and construction codes (e.g. welding code and inspection techniques, NDE methods, Industry and Company Design Guidelines, Safe work practices, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to lead, organize and plan construction activities including cost estimating, scheduling, preparing work plans, bid preparation, bid walks, safety plans, contracting, materials management, cost tracking and control, onsite crew activities, project turnover to operations and commissioning
