Major Oil & Gas Company - Midland TX

The Role:
The purpose of this position is to provide construction scheduling support to a portfolio of projects managed by the Onshore Projects Organization in West Texas. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop. The successful candidate will be a core team member of Project Services Organization supporting multiple projects in the US.

A regional Project Services team exists within Onshore Projects whose mission is to develop and deliver the project management services for all projects. Within this Project Services Team the Construction Scheduler will support the scheduling activities at the work sites.

The principal accountabilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
•Ensure that the established planning and scheduling methodology is followed in developing project schedule
•Ensure Subcontractor compliance with established scheduling methodology and manage Subcontractor performance.
•Plan & coordinate the schedule development process
•Support the development of the Work Breakdown Structure to support project delivery
•Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines
•Perform analysis of schedule data; communicating trends, issues, and areas requiring attention to the Project Team
•Coordinate monthly schedule reporting, including schedule forecast updates and schedule contingency management
•Perform Critical Path Analysis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree or extended experience in construction scheduling.
•5-10 years project experience in schedule management including site / construction scheduling.
•Working experience with Primavera 6.0 is required
•Working experience in upstream Project Services organization.
•Must have a “Team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
•Ability to work in a dynamic environment among multiple projects and ability to support ad-hoc requests.
