The Role:
To plan and coordinate all pre shutdown/shut down construction activities to meet schedules across the assets.

The Shut Down Coordinator is responsible for working with the Client Shut Down Team and the AFP's and CFP's to agree the efficient implementation and execution of Platform Shut Down construction activities to meet schedules



Supervisory and Managerial Duties:

Main Duties:
GENERAL

Act as the main Focal point for the Offshore Construction Supervision and Team during the execution phases on the Assets.
Work closely with the offshore team /Onshore HSE and Construction Manager to ensure all HSE requirements are met.
Conduct constructability work pack reviews ensuring development is in line with agreed schedules.
Co-ordinate mobilisation of resources for pre/during/post project and shutdown execution and ensures the correct mix of labour is available at all times.

Ensure material / fabrications delivery is timed to suit construction programme / platform space constraints.
Input constructability into detail design and ensures this is carried into workpack development.
Conduct daily calls with platform.
Update weekly progress offshore into onshore reporting systems.
Liaise closely with Discipline Engineers on a daily basis.
Liaise closely with OCS to ensure all offshore time-writing to booking codes and overhead cost allocations are correct.
Attend Client and onshore meetings as and when required by the Construction Manager.
Liaise closely with Onshore ‘Material Controller' to ensure correct management of fabrications, plant, tooling and consumables available for the Offshore Team.
Ensure any Technical Queries raised from offshore are closed out within acceptable durations. Work closely with OCS to ensure construction completed work packs are closed out and returned onshore in a timely fashion and punch lists recorded.
Maintain and monitor Growth tracker.

Additional roles and responsibilities will include:

Deputise for the Construction Manager when required.
Liaise closely with TLQ/ALQ Module team to ensure seamless construction interface.
Conduct periodical visit to the ALQ fabrication yard as and when required.
Works closely with Recruitment and HR to ensure all mobilisations, demobilisations, holiday covers, etc run seamlessly.
Work closely with Representative and Training coordinator to ensure offshore team has necessary skills, competencies and has completed training as required by agreed Training Matrix.
Liaise closely with Discipline Engineers to ensure any onshore FAT, trial fits or installation mock-ups are represented by the Construction Team
Assist with preparation of CTRS and sense check job carded hours in work packs.
