The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
Fircroft have been asked to source a Construction Site Manager to provide management and direction to the area of construction between the Mainland and Curtis Island.

• Work for an international Oil & Gas company on a Coal Seam Gas project in Queensland
• Fly in Fly Out rotational position
• Long term contract role (12 to 24 months)

The Construction Site Manager will ensure the construction of this area is delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and in compliance with policies, regulations, permits, licenses and plans.

The incumbent will oversee the work of field construction supervisors, construction contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed against project plans.

• Provide technical advice for construction, design and operational issues
• Manage construction operations and attend daily meetings
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding all construction activities at site
• Ensure Safety & Compliance are at the forefront of all construction activities
• Liaise with the Land Access teams to ensure consent is provided
• Ensure lease and lease access construction planning is performed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent years experience
• Chartered member of a relevant institution
• Understanding and experience of pipeline construction, contracting strategies and project execution plans
• Experience working in a high-level client/project owner/operator position
• Extensive experience managing high-value international pipeline contracts
