Mission
• Supervise and control the Contractor and Sub-contractors in order to obtain that the construction activities are performed safely, are complying with the AFC documentation, and are executed on schedule and within budget.
• Manage and assign objectives to the multidiscipline Company Site Supervision Team
• Demonstrate personal commitment to the SHE Policy, maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company SHE standards, actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
Activities
• Take RSES responsibility for enforcing the Companies SHE policy and the SHE Management System on site.
• Ensure Compliance with the Project’s Safety Objectives.
• Establish & promote a positive safety culture across the site, within the team and with the Construction Contractors
• Approve Work-Permits in liaison with Site SHE-Leader.
• Manage Emergency situation as per the RSES role in the Project and Affiliate emergency Response Procedures.
• Act as Company Site Representative on Site towards main Contractors and Subcontractors
• Take responsibility for the Site contractual and technical issues on Site, in liaison with Contract Manager
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the scope of the contract and that any variances are fully documented and reported to the Contract Manager
• Monitor / drive the execution of the Contractor construction schedule and measure progress against Planning
• Manage the Site-Team of multidiscipline Superintendants and Supervisors in various trades. Enforce a clear policy and general rules to be applied to each discipline, in order to have a coherent and homogeneous Construction Team.
• Ensure staff are effectively implementing the Project’s specifications/procedures and that Contractors are in compliance so as to ensure quality/schedule/cost of construction activities
• Give clear instructions and responsibilities to all members of Team in order that they feel at ease and motivated
• Make necessary arbitration between different disciplines, the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project
• Maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the Project
• Propose corrective actions/recovery plans to Contract Manager for further implementation on Site as required to ensure that Project Objectives are met,
• Liaise with Package Engineering Manager to clarify in advance technical difficulties or construction sequencing,
• Manage the local technical and logistical interfaces with other Entities, the Port Authority, the Council, the Roads Department, etc...
• Manage the technical and logistical interfaces with local Regulatory Bodies such as the SEPA, the SNH, etc...
• Liaise with Contractors for the management of on-site taskforce, including industrial relations
• Keep the Contract Manager informed of all events which may affect the successful completion of the project goals.
• Provide routine reports to Project Management as required
• Ensure smooth handover from Construction to Commissioning, in line with Company objectives
Location
• Rotation 3/34/4 weeks on the Construction Site
• While on site, hosted in the site accommodation Camp

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications Experience required
• Typically relevant international project construction experience, with a a Construction managerial role within projects.
• Good management skills, extensive experience in the management of in multi-discipline teams.
• Recognised leadership and level of experience in construction activities (either on Greenfield or on large fabrication Yards), civil works, piping works, module installation and hookup, pre-commissioning and commissioning
• Previous gas plant construction experience
• Thorough experience with the contractual relationships between Client, Contractors and Subcontractors
• Good knowledge of general specifications is strongly desiredrequired.
• Ability to identify, analyse & solve problems related to safety, construction, quality control, schedule or technical matters
• Ability to work as part of a team and to accept heavy responsibilities, including safety and security.
