The Role:
(to include but not be limited to):
• Construction input and oversight into the development and execution of repair scopes of work, front end loading design and direction in the layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, test and pre-commissioning and commissioning of projects and modifications activities (onshore/offshore).
• Lead the development of scopes of work and construction execution plans.
• Acts as the Focal Point for all construction/demolition activities within the assigned asset and develop/maintain norms for Region construction.
• Provide input into construction cost estimate, schedule and resourcing.
• Participates in HAZIDS, HAZOP and all Risk Assessments for field activities and ensure field/site compliance.
• Manage the scope of the project with a view to minimizing changes during execution.
• Monitor the performance of the execution contractor and manage any variations to schedule and cost to stay on target.
• Manage the client's interfaces during execution including gate compliance, risk assessments, IM interface, logistics, POB, SIMOPS, sequencing of activities due to operational constraints, and PTW issues.
• Provide construction updates and maintain performance data on construction contractors.
• Manage construction and commissioning in accordance to the client’s OMS.
• Input/Review (where determined necessary) of execution contractor work pack documentation.
• Witness/Accept various elements of work as required by ITP’s/design documentation/client's Standards etc.
• Drive towards the development /implementation of industry best practices, continuous improvement and innovation.
• Assess, Monitor and Review contractor/sub-contractor personnel/nominated Competent Persons etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 15-20 years Oil & Gas construction experience.
• Familiar with the client's systems, procedures and standards (cost, quality, construction management etc).
• Detailed knowledge of local/international contractor capabilities and capacities.
• Proven track record in a Brownfield environment (onshore/offshore).
• Proactive HSSE culture and behaviors.
Training and certification in applicable codes (CWI, NACE, API etc).
