The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
• Member of a multi-functional execution project team responsible for planning, coordination, field supervision and engineering input relating to LNG train works during construction activities for a three-train LNG plant. The plant is a combination of modularized and stick-built areas.
• Ensures facilities within the above portfolio of work are built and installed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and that applicable project safety and environmental instructions are being followed. Uses a Management of Change process as required to document changes.
• Accountability extends to delivering works in line with agreed and approved cost and schedule demands.
• Interfaces and interacts with off-site management and support groups in delivering the facilities and meeting project milestones.
• Works directly with the functional discipline construction teams to oversee day to day activities and issues on Barrow Island for relevant construction matters for the LNG plant. Proactively anticipate concerns and opportunities, and ensures these are being addressed in an effective manner.
• Responsible and Accountable for Weekly Work Plan content and actual results for the geographical area assigned.
• Demonstrates leadership and accountability
• Demonstrates knowledge of applicable project and industry codes, standards and specifications related to the installation and completion of the works. In particular is responsible for the whole management activities (safety, IIF, schedule, quality and cost) associated with the relevant construction scope on the downstream LNG plant.
• Provides input on constructability reviews.
• Relevant responsibility for multiple construction contractors and the performance of the contractors within the geographical area of responsibility.
• Ensures that construction and field procedures are developed and in place to protect Company assets.
• Ensures the construction tasks are planned and completed as scheduled.
• Ensures performance deviations are managed in line with business processes.
• Ensures the right prioritization is placed on works by managing the timing and sequence of works to facilitate optimal resource levelling of the execution contractors.
• Ensures the quality process is implemented in line with expectations.
• Ensures the work is executed cost effectively and timely.
• Interfaces with off-site and on-site engineering organisations to ensure deliverables are issued as per plan.
• Responsible for obtaining necessary support as required for problem solving.
• Ensures all construction controls are effectively implemented.
• Oversees strategies related to construction activities at site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 25+ years site construction experience.
• 10+ years as a Construction Manager.
• Competent in use of common computer systems and software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and a keen understanding of construction management, sequencing and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of LNG construction is and experience in dealing / interfacing with Contractors.
• Well developed communication and interpersonal relationship skills
