The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, seeks expertise for offshore mega-projects in Canada.This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland & Labrador.

We are looking for a Construction Superintendent to work in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Role:
As a Construction Superintendent your main responsibilities will be:

• Oversee site contractor fabrication, construction, and hook-up work activities during Execution Phase
• Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team members
• Serve as day-to-day interface with contractor and craft labour during the Construction Phase, providing a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule
• Provide on-site support to the Construction Site Manager / Construction Site Lead as required
• Provide support to pre-commissioning/mechanical completion/systems completion as required
• Coordinate Quality Audits and other site surveillance activities and monitor environmental compliance and safety procedures
• Provide oversight of contractor’s materials management/verification systems
• Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plans
• Interface with contractor for field level changes, e.g., scope, costs, etc.
