The Role:
This position is based at St Fergus (Peterhead) site, a close relationship and daily interfacing with St Fergus Operations Management is required to maintain awareness of ongoing activities / simultaneous operations, and ensure that all project activities are performed in accordance with site safety procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent shall monitor performance and coordinate all Construction, Commissioning and Decommissioning activities carried out at St Fergus. This includes all third party mobilised contractors and sub contractors in the preparation and execution of Project and Modifications work.

Daily interface with St. Fergus site management is required to maintain awareness of ongoing activities and their possible impact on project activity.

•Technical aspects of the project and modification activities are delivered in a competent, safe and efficient manner within agreed budgets
•Planning, scheduling and execution of works are made within agreed time parameters.
•Any deviation from planned work is agreed, recorded and measured.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
•Have a full understanding of the site construction activities on the site plan to ensure visibility of work scope
•Assist Site management on day to day setting of priorities.
•Coordinate with Site Production and Maintenance where appropriate
•Attend site daily coordination meeting – with contractor and vendor representatives (if necessary) – to appraise site planning of project activities and to maintain awareness of site ongoing operations.
•Daily liaison with Project Engineers, as relevant to ongoing work.
•Accurate reporting of all construction, commissioning and decommissioning which is under the responsibility of the dedicated E&C contractor and any 3rd party vendors / subcontractors mobilised by Projects.
•Approval of E&C contractor and any third party vendors’ timesheets mobilised by Projects
•Confirm that all contractor and 3rd party personnel undergo all relevant local safety induction and familiarisation before any work carried out on site.
•Review all site plans and liaise with site management to integrate construction, commissioning and decommissioning within the site plan.
•Review all construction work packs ensure that all site disciplines are aware of the work scope and that any technical clashes are identified and resolved before work commences.
•Review all construction permits prior to submission for approval. Ensure that permits comply with site standards and that work breakdown is presented in a clear and methodical manner.
•Attendance at HAZID’s, Risk Assessments and where possible Tool box talks to ensure quality and accuracy
•Liaise with onshore Projects Dept for future site construction projects as required. Supervise and control engineers visiting the site to conduct surveys. Ensure that there is a clear definition of the work being surveyed and that any clashes and areas of concern for future construction projects campaigns are clearly identified on the survey report.
•Ensure construction, commissioning and decommissioning work is completed in line with approved procedures and following CMS procedures
•Ensure that company change control procedures are followed in respect of deviations from planned scope, and schedules.
•Ensure work pack close out is performed and “as built” drawings are prepared by Contractor.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Recognised apprenticeship with a minimum formal qualification to be HNC or City & Guilds
•Experience in a supervisory position in the Oil & Gas Construction Industry
•Recognised safety qualification such as NEBOSH Health & Safety General Certificate
