The Role:
As the Construction Superintendent you will have ultimate responsibility to effectively complete the construction phase of a mid-sized steel pipeline project ensuring that you meet all scope, schedule, and statutory obligations as the contractor.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:-
• Full responsibility for all construction activities in the field relating to a steel pipeline construction project - $100m annual equivalent
• Plan, manage and monitor the construction activities of all personnel – approximately 180 staff and sub-contractors.
• Ensure safe workplace, identifying and addressing risks appropriately and demonstrating positive safety behaviour.
• Early identification and notification of all project variations to the Senior Project Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Engineering OR relevant Trade qualifications.
• Significant industry knowledge and experience relevant to the pipeline and CSG industries.
• Previous experience at a Superintendent level supporting the development of staff and the establishment of a strong teamwork and safety culture.
• Proven Construction Management experience on medium to large scale pipeline projects ie. 10 years+ & $50-100 million+
• The ability to positively build and influence relationships and to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional people management skills
