The Company:
Our Client oversees and manages all the operations associated with major LNG projects.

The Role:
Job Purpose:

 Serve as primary interface with Contractor Vessel Superintendent
 Oversee company on-vessel Construction/Technical Supervisors and Inspectors
 Responsible for on-vessel safety, quality, and incident response support.
 Provide technical installation support to Field Engineer

Key Result Areas:

 Provides in daily communication to Installation Coordinator on offshore execution activities, and progress.
 Ensure Contractor work and safety management systems are followed
 Participate in on-board Risk Assessments and JSA development
 Ensure approved installation procedures are followed or MOC process is implemented
 Implement field surveillance plans
 Steward implementation of site safety, quality, and emergency response plans
 Provide input and endorsement of daily activity reports
 Validate and co-endorse (with Field Engineer) Contractor daily report including extra or reimbursable work and downtime
 Manage offshore tech. foremen and inspectors as needed
 Monitor vessel condition/readiness
 Monitor contractor performance and ensure specifications / approved procedures are followed

 Works on large capital expenditure projects in a highly dynamic team environment that has tight-deadlines, high pressure and visibility, requiring accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi- task as essential skills.

 Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.
 Interacts effectively with company management and external stakeholders, including statutory auditors, shareholder auditors and other entities to discuss project practices and issues.
 Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, self-confidence, fairness.

Problem Solving/Complexity:

 Undertakes complex tasks and acts as a source of guidance for staff and internal customers. Is expected to handle all but the most complex problems and difficulties that might arise.
 Takes initiatives, based on experienced gained, to deliver timely and cost effective service.
 Sets situations/issues in the context of the entire team and has an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and organizations.

Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:

 Works independently within established procedures, plans and budgets and contributes to the development of these.
 Establishes credibility with peers, subordinates and supervisors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
15 years minimum construction experience
10 years minimum offshore installation experience
5 years minimum offshore installation vessel supervisory experience
Experience working directly for an oil & gas operator
Experience working overseas, Middle East preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and common E-mail systems
Fluent English
