Our client is one of the world's leading international oil and gas companies.

The Role:
The Construction Supervisor (Electrical) is accountable to the Central Processing Facilities (CPF) Area Construction Manager and will be responsible for the following functions:
• Has experience of large oil and gas projects, including HV/LV electrical activities, Substations, and LER’s, GTG’s and control buildings
• Ensure compliance with the safety assurance plan so that work is accomplished in an environmentally sound manner using safe work practices.
• Anticipate and resolve problems encountered in the field to eliminate costly rework or re-testing through the EPC Contractor.
• Ensure work is performed per plans and specifications via coordination with the Quality Assurance (QA).
• Monitor progress to ensure scheduling milestones are understood and are being met.
• Review contractor work performance and project status updates.
• Have knowledge and be familiar with electrical installation methods, Codes and regulations, Safety rules and construction techniques.
• To be aware of all Health and Safety requirements as set out in the Project HSSE Policy and all updates and revisions of same, be aware on a proactive level of all and any HSSE issues that occur on a day to day bases actively resolving and reporting such events.
• In line with the project schedule monitor and record contractor’s progress and key milestones.
• Evaluate construction against drawings recording and reporting any deviation or change to agreed design.
• Be aware of all site traffic and personnel routes, and ensure that procedures and traffic management are in place for movement in and around the overall site.
• All other duties and task as required by the Area Construction Manager.
• In put into lift planning and operation including soundness of lifting base.


Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum qualification HNC Electrical, preferably ATEX certified
• Strong working knowledge of construction planning, construction methodology, productivity analysis, quality assurance and HSSE procedures.
• Work experience in hot weather region with up to 45oC and medically fit for the environment.
• International and/or multicultural experience.
• Act as a role model to promote the highest standards in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture in the project community.
