The Role:
The function of this position is to supervise and co-ordinate all the works carried out for the project. The aim is to ensure that work executed by contractor teams at site is done in a co-ordinated, controlled and transparent manner. All works must be carried out working according to the Company rules and procedures and that the safety and integrity of the worksites are maintained. Development of strong and positive relationships with site management and contractor representatives is essential.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

•To maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards and to ensure adherence to these by E&C contractors and 3rd Parties
•To monitor safety performance and coordinate all Construction, Commissioning and Decommissioning activities carried out by Projects at Site including all third party mobilised contractors and sub contractors
•To confirm that all contractor and 3rd party personnel undergo all relevant local safety induction and familiarisation before any work carried out on site
•To review all permits prepared by contractors prior to submission for approval to ensure that these comply with site standards and that work breakdown is presented in a clear and methodical manner
•Attendance at HAZID’s, Risk Assessments and where possible Tool box talks to ensure quality and accuracy
•To Ensure that any accidents incidents or near misses are reported to the OIM and onshore management and when required to take part in any incident investigations and analysis


MAIN ACTIVITIES:

•Have a full understanding of the site construction ongoing and planned activities on the platform ensure visibility of work scope
•Daily interface with platform and TSV management to maintain awareness of ongoing activities, to identify possible impact on project activity and to allow setting of priorities
•Coordinate with Site Production and Maintenance team leaders where appropriate
•Attend site daily coordination meeting – with contractor and vendor representatives (if necessary) – to appraise site planning of project activities and to maintain awareness of site ongoing operations
•Manage all aspects of personnel mobilised for project activities and resolve any issues with logistics etc. This will be carried out with the assistance of the contractors supervisory and support personnel offshore and the operations and RDS planning departments onshore
•Liaise with the Dolphin drilling technical team on the TSV to ensure that all works required to be completed before drilling operations commence are completed in a timely manner
•Ensure that Dolphin are aware of any welfare issues raised by residents and that these are being addressed
•Daily liaison with onshore Project Engineers, as relevant to ongoing work and where necessary to plan future works
•Accurate reporting of all construction, commissioning and decommissioning which is under the responsibility of the dedicated E&C contractor and any 3rd party vendors / subcontractors mobilised by Total Projects
•Approval of E&C contractor and any third party vendors’ timesheets mobilised by Projects
•Review all construction work packs ensure that all site disciplines are aware of the work scope and that any technical clashes are identified and resolved before work commences
•Ensure construction, commissioning and decommissioning work is completed in line with approved procedures and following Total CMS procedures
•When necessary witness commissioning and functional tests and sign these off as successfully completed
•Ensure work pack close out is performed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Previous construction supervision experience, with particular emphasis on drilling rig and drilling equipment
