The Company:
is a leading oil and gas company.

The Role:
• Direct the complete implementation of all Company required activities prior to and during the field execution of projects.
• Review and provide final approval of Contractor JSA’s and Site Specific Safety Plan.
• Perform safe work audits, negotiate and assign accountable parties for required actions, and track open actions to completion.
• Plan and lead safety assessments, identify action items, negotiate and assign responsible parties for action items, assemble the closure package, communicate results, and track action items to completion.
• Ensure project HSE issues are documented and tracked to closure.
• Lead weekly HSE Management meetings for assigned Contractors.
• Perform Behavior Based Safety (BBS) observations, and review compiled observation data with the construction Contractors.
• Ensure that all required agency (Local, State, and Federal) permits are in place prior to the start of, and complied with during, all field construction activities.
• Conduct Safety stand-downs, as appropriate, in coordination with the Project Lead.
Ensure proper incident notifications are made per Company procedures.
• Facilitate a smooth transition of the Construction Plan to the field.
• Engage the appropriate resources to resolve non-conformance issues when work is not performed in accordance with Company criteria, specifications, and standards, or does not meet the client’s expectations/needs.
• Direct human and equipment resource utilization to efficiently execute field work in accordance with the Construction Plan.
• Supervise the construction execution in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
• Review construction cost reporting, progressing, incurred cost, earned value, productivity measurement, and contract change provisions.
• Direct schedule adjustments to ensure efficient and cost effective execution.
• Lead the pre-job meeting(s).
• Implement the CPO Readiness Process and recommend approval for Contractor mobilization.
• Manage the field implementation of all Company construction contracts.
• Approve all construction subcontracts.
• Perform construction contract closeout.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
• Must carry valid Driver’s License
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Construction projects.
• Ability to read, understand and decipher all construction drawings.
• Computer skills and proficiency (able to operate with little or no assistance) in Microsoft Windows, Explorer, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong demonstrable interpersonal / team building skills.
• Ability to work away from home at remote construction sites and work seamlessly and effectively with a functional alternate on a rotational schedule.
