The Company:
Our Client is an international energy company engaged in exploration and production; oil sands mining; and integrated gas.

The Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor for our Pleasanton location as part of our a major shale project. Our Client has reached a definitive agreement to purchase assets in the core of the a large shale formation in Texas.

Overview:
The successful candidate will interface with employees, contractor employees, and vendors to optimize construction activities and capital in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Internally, the position will interface with the drilling, completions, production, land, regulatory teams, and third party utility and gas services. He/she will help coordinate construction/maintenance efforts with the Production Operations group to maximize use of contractor resources and work with D&C to meet project schedules and maximize asset value. Accordingly, effective teamwork is mandatory as information is gathered and communicated between the different team members. Due to the projected activity level in the area, the candidate must be highly motivated and possess exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
1.Supervises and directs all contractors and sometimes maintenance personnel on all activities performed in the field.
2.Assists in planning and scheduling of all construction activities.
3.Enforces all Client safety and administrative policies, procedures, and contract agreements.
4.Assists the Construction Superintendent/Manager to insure project timelines are met.
5.Conducts all pre job analysis for all contractors.
6.Attends weekly and sometimes daily meetings with contractors.
7.Participates in weekend duty rotation.
8.Works with the project teams on all capital and expense jobs to ensure all jobs will meet the required budget.
9.Ensures all jobs are performed in accordance with Client's engineering specifications.

Degree: Not Required
Computer Proficiencies: Experience with Microsoft Project and Office.
Certifications: None Required
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in Construction and/or Maintenance supervision. Planning experience preferred but not required.
