The Company:
Our Client oversees and manages all the operations associated with major LNG projects.

The Role:
Job Purpose:

 Acts as company onsite representative during execution phase, communicating activities to Construction Superintenden.
 Responsible for on-vessel safety and quality
 Responsible for on-vessel incident response case management
 Provide the interface between the work force and the Construction Superintendent

Key Result Areas:

 Ensure Contractor management systems are followed
 Implement field surveillance plans
 Steward implementation of site safety, quality , and emergency response plans
 Assist in the preparation of daily activity reports
 Monitor vessel condition/readiness
 Serve as day-to-day interface with EPC contractor/craft labor during the Execution phase providing a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule
– Provide safety monitoring/leadership/coaching as well as participate in safety meetings
– Participate, coach and assist Contractor personnel in effective pre-task planning measures in JSA's, and toolbox meetings
– Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress
– Provide oversight of contractor’s materials management/verification systems
– Monitor and ensure compliance with specification, procedures, and plans
– Monitor workforce productivities/progress as relative to schedule
– Monitor environmental/EIA compliance as required
– Liaise with contractor for field level changes, e.g., scope, cost, etc.
– Verify arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment
 Assist in collection of all documentation offshore relating to the project (i.e. equipment and personnel certifications, Contractor DPR's, minutes of meetings, JSA's, vessel and diving equipment inspections and audits, Contractors Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), accident/incident reports, near miss reports, survey reports, as built reports, management of change (MOC) reports, and corrective action reports)
 Capture lessons learned during installation activities

 Works in an evolving business environment where expansion opportunities are being identified on a continuous basis adding additional complexity and workload to the existing project environment.
 Works effectively within established procedures, or creates and endorses new procedures as necessary to further develop the company Project Management philosophy.
 Works on large capital expenditure projects in a highly dynamic team environment that has tight-deadlines, high pressure and visibility, requiring accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.

Communications and Working Relationships:

 Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.
 Interacts effectively with company management and external stakeholders, including statutory auditors, shareholder auditors and other entities to discuss project practices and issues.
 Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, self-confidence, fairness.

Problem Solving/Complexity:
 Undertakes complex tasks and acts as a source of guidance for staff and internal customers. Is expected to handle all but the most complex problems and difficulties that might arise.
 Takes initiatives, based on experienced gained, to deliver timely and cost effective service.
 Sets situations/issues in the context of the entire team and has an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and organizations.

Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:
 Works independently within established procedures, plans and budgets and contributes to the development of these.
 Establishes credibility with peers, subordinates and supervisors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 10 years minimum offshore installation experience
 5 years minimum offshore installation vessel supervisory experience
 Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and common E-mail systems
 Fluent English
Experience working directly for an Oil & Gas operator
Experience working overseas, Middle East preferred
