The Role:
> The Contract Administration Specialist position is primarily responsible for assisting the Project Manager - Contracts and Procurement in administering the EPC Contract for Liquefaction Natural Gas Three (3) Train Project. Specialist will use standardized processes and tools to blend Contract commercial know-how and practicality, ensuring Contract compliance that is auditable.

> Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) will be required.
> Position is located at project site in Hackberry, LA. There is no per diem or travel expenses associated with this position.

The Job Role
> The role includes the following primary responsibilities for the Contract Specialist position:
> Provide oversight and administration of EPC Contract (Lump Sum) including monitoring and reporting to ensure resolution of outstanding commercial issues
> Prepares and disseminates information to appropriate LNG team members regarding Contract status. Provide Contract summaries ensuring Contract execution / administration in accordance / compliance with Company policy and procedures
> Preparing and implementing trainings for business teams on key aspects of EPC Contract processes
> Monitor Contract to ensure compliance with all Owner specifications and governmental regulations in the daily decision making thought process
> Administrative duties include but are not limited to updating records, filing, logging / tracking correspondence, validating invoices are to Contract terms, reviewing Change Order requests, preparing, issuing, and filing Change Orders with backup documentation being provided and justified in an auditable file for claim mitigation
> Perform analysis of proposed Contract Change Order and provide commercial recommendation to management for approval
> Maintaining, updating and managing electronic Contract administration database
> Interprets EPC Contract articles / provisions to help resolve questions, claims, and disputes submitted by Contractor
> Makes decisions and recommendations that are correct for all parties on highly technical and / or complex commercial issues
> Facilitates meetings with Contractor concerning contractual issues, as requested by the Project Managers and / or Directors.
> Relationship building is paramount in the job. Duties: - Engage with applicable Project Stakeholders and Project Managers for resolution of Contract issues, including Change Management, Contract Disputes and Claims Management / Resolution
> Monitors Contractor performance, including the reporting and status of Contractor deliverables per EPC Contract
> Monitors Owner performance, including the reporting and status of Owner deliverables per EPC Contract
> Ensure Contractor work, reporting, scheduling, progress payments, and close out activities are performed in accordance with the EPC Contract
> Monitors Contractors' compliance with EPC Contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied before approval of the Final Invoice
Candidate Requirements
> As the successful candidate, you have knowledge of the requirements for acquiring consulting, engineering, design, construction, and installation services for oil and energy industry Major Capital Projects in accordance with established policies and procedures. You have industry knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating various types of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Contracts. You have skill in negotiating, writing, and interpreting, administering contractual agreements
> A bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Quantity Surveyor, or Engineering will compliment your minimum of five to ten years of experience in the oil and gas industry related to Engineer, Procure, and Construction Contracts, preferably with LNG plant experience
> High proficiency with MS Office (especially Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and contracts and records management systems
> Good working knowledge of ERP systems known as SAP and SharePoint
