The Role:
Contract Administrator Role:

Key accountabilities:

-Ensures the appropriate filing and accessibility of contract documentation for specific categories and/or range of suppliers
-Actively explores the relationships between related contracts to determine the ‘bigger picture’ of a supplier’s contribution to the business
-Summarizes – in a format established by the Contracts Manager – the key milestones and/or deliverable expected under the contract
-Suggests appropriate review intervals for individual contracts
-Draft amendments, letter agreements, and other related contractual documents which capture the requirements and expectations of the intended task.
-Provides help and guidance to contractual disputes and contractual clarifications to existing contracts.
-Provides assistance to the Audit group.
-Provides contract management and maintenance. This will include contracts assessment and monitoring, administration of changes and variation orders, invoices and claims analysis, and continually improve contract management and administration processes.
-Tracks invoicing against contracts, providing reports to a frequency and standard established by the Contracts Manager and escalating any discrepancies identified.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred:

-Oil & Gas experience specifically in Drilling and Completions,
-Strong working experience with SAP, SRM, Ariba, Excel, MS Word
-Category Management Methodology
-College Degree
-Good contractual, legal and commercial experience in Oil & Gas
-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
