The Role:
The position requires a highly skilled / highly motivated candidate due to the nature of a multi billion US$ mega Program involved, the implementation phases of this unique Program
Development will take place in different parts of the world. FEED, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and start up activities will be carried out by specialized
consultants, contractors and fabrication yards worldwide. Therefore, high mobility and international / multi cultural experience in large scale development projects will be key criteria in qualifying for the roles.

Job Purpose
Will be responsible to provide expert guidance on Contract Administration and Project Controls matters within the Development program. This contract administration positions will be responsible for the overall integrity and quality of projects contracts after awarding assuring the correct administration, interface between the contractor and the project organization. This role must assure the integration at project level and interfaces with other project services disciplines as cost, risk and planning.

ROLE DEFINITION
Main responsibilities:
- Assure implementation of project procedures and alignment of Project Services Activities particularly contract administration tasks to project Level
- Prepare contract administration plans and procedures for each contract prior to tender and serve as focal point for implementation and evaluation of Project Coordination procedures in the ITT and during the technical evaluation of project Services activities
- Supporting the Project team in the administration of the contracts, interfacing the contractors and assuring proper communication between the project organization and the
contractor
- Assure the quality of the contracts logs post awarding
- Assure data gathering to create program databases for use among the projects
- Represent the Project Services Function in front of Contractors and partners in contracts administration matters as well as provide guidance during the kick off meetings and other post
award contractual matter

Key activities

Prepare Contract execution plan
- Provide contract administration procedures and practices prior to contract award and during ITT
- Provide setup of Management of Change; Set up and maintain registers for managing and monitoring variation orders, variation proposal forms, variation notifications etc.
- Deals with problems arising in connection with the execution of Purchase Orders/Works contracts
- Performs liaison activities between Company-Contractors/Suppliers to resolve all issues related to commercial aspects
- Acts in the respect of professional ethics and Company code of practice
- Prepares systematic Reporting related to the contract Administration activities
- Assure contracts logging after contract award and administration of overall contractual documents
- Maintain Contracts Communication logs and assure correct interface between project team and contractors
- Expedite contractual and commercial monthly commitments
- Monitor contractor administration of their subcontractors to ensure satisfactory performance
- Resolve any claims and disputes and preparation of response to contractors aligned between all parties in the project
- Interfacing properly with other project control functions and the finance departments to assure timely invoicing and payment coordinating any request for the issue of all relevant certificates, etc

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Functional: Lead Contract Administration
Hierarchical: Project Services Manager
University degree in University degree in Engineering. Master degree will be an advance for
leader positions

Professional Qualifications
PMI or AACEI certification will be an advance

Training and Courses
- Management skills advanced course
- Project management advanced course
- Engineering

Languages
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Additional Language is an advantage

Required Experience
- 10 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
- 7 years of direct project service experience
