The Company:
Our client, a major Oil & Gas Owner/Operator, is currently searching for two Project Contracts Advisors to be a critical member of the project team at the Site in Kitimat, B.C., Canada

The Kitimat position will be a rotator position comprised of two individuals working a back-to-back 28/28 work schedule

The Role:
- Position will be reporting to the Lead Contracts Advisor in Houston.

- The Contracts Advisor is responsible for the coordination and management of project contracting activities including compliance with Company policies and procedures at the Kitimat site

- They shall also be responsible to provide contractual oversight over EPC-awarded Subcontractor activities

- They shall represent the Client Contract Team at all regularly schedule site meetings with EPC Contractor and EPC-Subcontractor status meetings

- The Contract Advisor will ensure and reinforce contract administration procedures, preparation and administration of all required site-specific Company Contracts, and interface with and support other contracts personnel as necessary.

- Implementation of project contracting strategy and project contracting plan.

- Coordinate with Houston-based Contracts Team for the administration of EPC contract, including change management, lien waivers, insurance, claims mitigation and closeout

- Prepare and administer all Kitimat site Company 3rd party contracts.

- Ensure all corporate compliance needs of contracts are satisfied including insurance certificates, authority levels, approvals, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, etc.

- Ensue all project joint venture requirements regarding contracting processes at site are satisfied.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree preferred but extensive experience acceptable.

: -Major capital project experience required. Major capital project experience on a LNG plant project is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work in multi-discipline teams, including contractors and vendors. Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced Project environmen
